APDG's Breakfast Club - "Questions of Value" Lectures

From: Dave K.
Sent on: Wednesday, November 5, 2008 4:21 PM
This Saturday we will view and discuss lectures thirteen and fourteen of the "Questions of Value" course. In lecture thirteen, Professor Grim looks at the arguments for and against objective values. He tries to answer the question: Is there a source of value beyond the merely subjective? And in lecture fourteen, he examines quality of life issues in an attempt to evaluate arguments for and against suicide as a rational act. Each lecture will be followed by 30 minutes of discussion.

Prior preparation or even past participation is not necessary, viewing this week's DVD lectures and your life experience are sufficient to fully participate in post-lecture discussions. Please join us and share your views, our friendly group will help you fit right in. .
