This Saturday we will view and
discuss lectures thirteen and fourteen of the "Questions of Value"
course. In lecture thirteen, Professor Grim looks at the
arguments for and against objective values. He tries to answer the question: Is
there a source of value beyond the merely subjective? And in lecture fourteen,
he examines quality of life issues in an attempt to evaluate arguments for and
against suicide as a rational act. Each lecture will be followed by 30 minutes
Prior preparation or even past participation is not
necessary, viewing this week's DVD lectures and your life experience are
sufficient to fully participate in post-lecture discussions. Please join us and
