Philosophy and a Tea Party.

The UT Objectivism Society will have a table at the next Tea Party to be held on Saturday.  We will be dispersing Rand's articles entitled The Nature of Government, and Man's Rights, as well as The Objectivist Ethics.

If anyone is interested in the comprehensive and principled case for freedom that Rand has made, or any other aspect of Objectivist philosophy, please feel free to meet us there.  As always, we also have a Meetup Group.  We meet weekly on UT Campus in the philosophy building, and currently we are at the end of a lecture series by Dr. Tara Smith, philosophy professor at UT.  The subject of the series is rationality and objectivity.

I'm slowly working on Mr. Meacham's case regarding the True vs Right, but I've been occupied and have not been able to attend to is as I desire to.  I will follow up on this issue in the bulletin board however, and not through system wide postings.  The point of contention seems to me to be Objective Reality versus Valuation, but this may change with a deeper reading.

Bye for now.
