Fun time listening to Phil play! Phil's band...better than watching "Family Guy!" :D We should do a conversation near where Phil is playing on occasion...I believe everyone will enjoy themselves.

Here is the interview with the psychiatrists I was talking about. very interesting and definitely consistent with the topic:

Thanks Heather. Very similar to post-modern Existential approaches (ie : Rollo May's work).

It's all pretty interesting. Good to get all different approaches and get the best from all of them. Great questions!

This is Philip, I just look like Icela right now!. I'm too tired to figure out how to get to my login but I wanted to say that I'm glad we generally figured out a way to contribute without cutting each other off. Though It would be nice for us to try one more move. Since we generally have a, "wait your turn "way of discussing, some have pointed out that when many want to speak at once, sometimes it's hard or frustrating for a waiting individual to either, a) remember what they were going to say, or b) find it relative to whats being said, by the time they get to speak.
Maybe if we can be mindful of the amount of people wanting to comment at one time, we can also be mindful of keeping our own contribution concise, to the point, and on the topic at hand...so that others don't feel their point mute by the time they get their turn.
Maybe we can keep the "drifting" for times when not many are waiting to express themselves.

Just a thought. It was great as usual.

Hey all. I got inspired and went ahead and set up Constitution Cafe. Here's the link on meetup: http://www.meetup.com/Constitution-Cafe-of-Queens/events/150455032/

As per Jorge's previously-given support, I'll also send an e-mail to the Socrates Cafe membership.

    All aboard!

Thanks Paul and Linda for the questions and the mental image of aliens voluntarily watching "Family Guy" in preparation for their visit to Earth. :D George, thanks for organizing another fun discussion.

Tonight was an exceptional terrestrial experience.. 18 members attended and participated in the evenings discussions and we maintained an elegant and constructive equilibrium (Spiro's term).

Get well soon, Michelle. Drink Chamomile. Though sometimes, at school, I wish I couldn't hear out of both ears...

Yes, I am wondering if this is my body responding to some of the horrible middle school comments! Maybe....this past week it was lovely not to hear them! But, truly I want my hearing back. Just starting drops today.
