Was founder and editor of Ithaca Community News[masked], a bimonthly online newsletter sent to most residents of Ithaca, NY. Founder of Ithaca HOURS local currency, which relied on email broadcasts to keep users current. Founded Philly Orchard Project (POP) and relied on email for networking. Likewise founded Ithaca Health Alliance, a local health plan which allowed email voting by members.

I rely on my laptop and my bicycle to learn about Philadelphia. Both are networking tools. Creating greenjobsphilly. org, still in beta, to make it easy for Philadelphians to offer and request green jobs. Teach Metropolitan Ecology at Temple.
