Well, the response to this topic has been overwhelming! On Facebook, we’ve had 53 Yes (+ 17 Maybe) RSVP’s, plus another 13 on Meetup. And we’re expecting higher than average participation online. Clearly, there’s a lot of interest in Google+ and what it may (or may not) accomplish. We’ve also added some additional interesting readings on our website.
As you all know, G+ is still so new that nobody can claim more than a month’s experience with it. So, we are planning an event for people to share that limited experience, along with their deeper perspectives of the nonprofit world, social change and the social web.
And since we’re expecting such a large turnout, we’d like to ask for some help…
If you may be able to help with any of these, or if there are any other ways in which you’d like to participate, please let us know at [address removed].
With such a large crowd of interested people, the evening promises to be full of insightful tips and strategies. Thanks to our sponsors for the evening, the American Friends Service Committee and Chevy Volt.
