With PostgreSQL 9.2 ready to be release in just a few short weeks, what better way to kick off the Philly PostgreSQL User Group than to find out what's new in 9.2. Bruce Momjian will be leading the discussion of all the great new developments. Some of the major new things include:

- Performance improvements of 10X or more
- New data-types include JSON support
- Better scalability of large CPU environments
- Any many more

Come find out all the new things that PostgreSQL can do and talk with some of the developers who wrote the features.

First rate talk; good description of 9.2 & what it's about. Also liked Jan Wieck's comment as to why PG is competitive with the big O: money can't buy ideas. :)
