HERE WE GO AGAIN!
I already have excellent accomodations at the USAF Rec Center at Ft Tuthill across the fence from the BeerFest It's also adjacent to the campgrounds where the riff-raff stay, so we can still party with them until WE decide to call it a night.
Ft Tuthill quarters are hotel-like or really nice kitchenette cabins, and include a FREE all-you-can-eat cookout on Friday night. There are also camp/RV sites available with access to REAL bathrooms (very important on Sunday morning when the County campground facilities are overflowing!).
We can carpool up on Friday, party at local breweries in Flag that evening after dinner (did I mention FREE dinner?), get a good night's sleep, and then, on Saturday, go hiking, etc., in the morning and hit the BeerFest in the PM! Or, I guess, you can skip the cerveza...
You can also contact me about volunteering, as I've been doing for years. I'll be pouring for part of the afternoon.
I expect the cost per person to be $30/night. That includes dinner on FRI evening (5-7PM), some donated ales from my personal stash, and an in-cabin catered (by me) breakfast on SAT & (maybe) SUN (Menudo, chorizo, bacon, sausage, muffins, cream cheese, eggs, fruit, coffee & cream, juice, etc.).
If you want to stay w/ us at Ft Tuthill, you must contact me ASAP. SPACE IS LIMITED! Here is info RE: the accommodations: http://www.forttuthill.com/cabn.html
If you want to sleep outside, great! Pitch a tent, sleep on the porch , stash your gear inside, use the full-bathroom, etc.
