Rally and Press Conference

**Join us for a rally and press conference on Tuesday at 1p at the State Capitol against the Center for Arizona Policy**

STATE CAPITOL, PHOENIX – Legislative Democrats are holding a press conference to address the ongoing efforts of the Center for Arizona Policy to push extremist bills that promote an ideological agenda. Since SB 1062 was vetoed, CAP has turned its focus to HB 2284, a bill that the organization developed which requires hospitals and healthcare institutions to report to the Department of Health Services if an infant survives an abortion procedure, although there is no evidence that this has ever occurred. HB 2284 is a platform for extremism, does nothing good for Arizona, is unnecessary and could cost the state millions in litigation.

Who:    House Minority Leader Chad Campbell, D-Phoenix (District 24)

Rep. Eric Meyer, D-Paradise Valley (District 28)

Sen. Katie Hobbs, D-Phoenix (District 24)

Where:   Arizona House of Representatives, Lawn

  1700 W. Washington St.

We need your voice! On Tuesday, the Arizona House of Representatives will vote on yet another controversial bills backed by the religious extremist group, the Center for Arizona Policy (CAP).   CAP also backed the so-called “Discrimination Bill”, SB1062, which turned into a huge embarrassment for legislators who voted “YES” on the bill.

Rep. Debbie Lesko (R-21) is the sponsor of HB2284, a bill which would open the door to harassment of women seeking health services and the providers who serve them.  Click here to read more about the bill.

CAP is relentless, and their agenda is hurting Arizona’s economy and reputation.

Tell the Arizona House of Representatives that Arizona can't take any more embarrassment.  Urge Legislators to vote NO on HB2284.

Take action now!

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
