Mingling, Food, and Fun @ The Duck

This Meetup takes place every third Friday of the month!

The Duck and Decanter provides a low-key and casual opportunity for members to meetup, dine and/or drink, socialize and converse. Serving deli-style foods (sandwiches, soups, salads, etc.) "fast-casual" style (i.e. order at counter, wait for order to be ready), they also offer wines and beers.

Plenty of parking is available; just head through the patio to the inside, order at the counter (or visit the wine-bar area adjacent) and then meet the rest of the group upstairs!

Note: Duck and Decanter is a little tricky to find and not readily visible from the road. It is in the shopping center on the southeast corner of 16th Street and Camelback, on the far east side of the lot, adjacent to and south of Copenhagen Furniture store.

Here's a video of Jamie Kilstein, discussed tonight. I've watched a handful of his videos but don't find him very entertaining or insightful. This particular video, wherein he chastises "dick atheists", I didn't find amusing at all. But hey, it could just be me, so you be the judge. :-)

Have some things to do Friday evening. You folks have fun. Have invocation if you want to.... i will not miss it at all (lol). By the way, the so called god is an atheist too: does not believe in a higher being! Case closed!

I just learned that actress Emily Mortimer is an atheist. Can we invite her to one of our happy hours? I get to sit next to her, though..........

Definitely like the Duck and Decanter. How 'bout holding this on a Saturday or Sunday once in a while?
