I have always been an atheist. My mother let us choose at a young age and sent us to church to learn about religion. I have always questioned it and when my oldest daughter was hospitalized as an infant, I could not help but to look around and see such sick children and the wonderful people helping them. It was impossible for me to believe that such a "wonderful" god would let these innocent children suffer in such horrible ways. I recently met someone that was so radically religious that I felt I just needed to talk to people that have common sense and that actually question the hypocracy that organized religion brings out in people. I find it so refreshing to find people that are proud to be atheists.
Hikes with pets. Bring in more speakers. Educate those of us that need more background on the bible and the hypocracy so we can educate others.
Hiking, bicycling the canals trails, watching UFC with friends, going to Rattlers football games

I'm 46 years old and recently divorced. Moved here in 1999. I am a mechanic for Arizona Public Service. Love to hike and bicycle and have a couple dogs who also enjoy hiking.
Very nice, friendly group. Everyone there was so interesting. Had a blast.
