I thought it would be fun to meet folks with similar interests and beliefs as I have.
Fun things, with opportunities to flap our lips at each other.
Hiking, camping, travel, and shooting photos wherever I go are the activities I enjoy. Anything where there are people with similar interests to mine would qualify as a favorite social activity for me.
None who know how much fun we have, and if I know someone is a non-believer, I am sure to tell them about the group, and our hiking in particular. I'm definately not a crusader, so I don't go out pushing my beliefs at anyone, but I know how lonely it feels to think most of the rest of the world rejects you because you don't believe in their invisible man in the sky who created everthing and runs it all now. Such an idea is just not rational to me, and I really enjoy the acceptance I experience from the many friends I have made since I joined.
http://www.TygerG... -- I started questioning the existence of a god when I was a kid. Agnostic when I moved to Phoenix at 20, all the religious crusaders here helped convince me "God" was created in the image of man, not the other way around.
A friendly, interesting group of folks.
