What made you join our group?

To meet more people who were doubting what's taken for granted.

What things would you like to see our group do?

Fun stuff, intellectual stuff.

What are a few of your favorite social activities?

Hanging out

How many non-believers do you know who would never join an atheist group like this?

I think there is a tendency for some individuals to be very concerned about identifying the more complex and multi-faceted nature of reality. Then- based on our priorities- we may act in this investigative and persistent style of social engagement. Depending on the attitude toward and relevance of what we say and they say, we have more or less risk of pushing people away or bringing people closer. I personally think that religion is a convoluted way for me to interact with others or view reality. For others, however, religion becomes a part of their philosophy and attaining happiness. Ultimately, I am always justified in respecting the philosophy of others.

Doubt seems like the most authentic position lately.
