Morning hike to Stoney Mountain North

Come out for an Saturday morning hike from the North Mountain Visitor Center to Stoney Mountain North. There is some climbing so be prepared for some exertion. We'll take the #100 trail eastward under 7th St (thru the tunnel and the "enchanted forest") into the preserve  and loop around before coming back. You're encouraged to bring snacks, cameras, and must bring at least 1+ liter of water per person and sturdy hiking footwear.

DISTANCE: 3 miles roundtrip
ELEVATION GAIN: 200 ft
DURATION: 1.5 hours
TRAIL STYLE: Lollipop shape
DOGS: Yes, if leashed.
