Hello! I'm getting back into hiking here in the Valley after being away from the area for a few years.
Have you hiked in Phoenix before?
Yes, several times at North Mountain, from the 40th St entrance, once at McDowell Mountain, and a couple of times at Pinnacle Peak, though I don't think I could do Pinnacle Peak right now.
Does the heat bother you?
I prefer to be too hot than too cold. I am sun sensitive, and wear skin and eye protection. I can get overheated if I'm not careful, but I know how to hydrate and protect myself.
