It's AZ Cardinals football Camp time again! We have the opportunity to work with the Arizona Cardinals in assisting them with running a combine. This camp is sponsored by the AZ Cardinals and the Dairy Council, where participants learn educational and non-contact recreational activities including learning passing and catching at interactive stations.
Volunteers are needed for helping with the stations during the camp. This is not about getting autographs and free Cardinal gear. Coach Mo is very passionate and very focused on helping and he wants the volunteers to be on their best behavior. We need to demonstrate to the Cardinals that our volunteers are professional, on time and reliable. Do not ask for any shirts, hats, etc. even if you see some being given out. (Most likely, you will get a cap to wear to represent the Cardinals). If autographs or something are offered to you, do NOT take advantage of it. No extras for someone who couldn't be there, a son, father, etc. and do not hold up the player if they have to be somewhere else, which was an issue with one of our groups that volunteered. No cameras or photos. Please, no late cancellations!
You need to be ready for physical activity and be able/willing to toss and catch footballs and demonstrate the station activities. You will be demonstrating relay and obstacle courses, but it is not overly physical so please don't be too concerned about it.
Today's location will be at Lawn "C" at the University of Phoenix Stadium (that is south of the stadium just north of Bethany Home Road). The actual camp will run from 12:00am-1:30pm. Please be there by 11:30am.
Dress comfortably for being outside and being physically active. Shorts/athletic wear is fine. Coach Mo has requested loose-fitting clothes. No tight-fitting tops or bottoms. Gatorade may be provided. Bring your own snacks and water if Gatorade doesn't work for you.
This is a great weekday project for us to work with and we will be working with the Cardinals moving into the future. Men and women are welcome. Minimum age is 18.
