Bridging AZ Furniture Bank is having their annual Arizona Bed Race Fundraiser and this will be our third year helping out. Everyone had a blast at last year's event!
The race starts at 11 am but they would like the volunteers there between 9:30am-10am. Plan on being there for a few hours, say 1 pm to be safe, but you may be done sooner.
They need 2 volunteers at the sign-in table to help them get the racers checked in and hand out the racers t-shirts, those people will also help with Raffle Sales. They will also need people to help with the race.
Go to San Felipe and they will be in the blocked off street also near California Pizza Kitchen. Ask for Kim.
Time: 9:30am-10am to 1 pm. (possibly done sooner) Note: Those who arrive early get to request what assignment they would prefer.
Duties: Registration/Raffle Sales (2), Assist with race (10) and possibly some volunteer bedracers as back-ups for the teams that show up short.

Dress Attire: Casual - Please wear comfortable pants/shorts, a yellow t-shirt if possible and tennis/running shoes.
There will also be an award ceremony after the race.
They are still looking for teams to sign up as well. It's only $15 per person or $75 per team.
