St. Mary's Food Bank

This is going to be a regular 4th Tuesday of the month for year 2013!

PLEASE CARPOOL AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE! Parking is limited on some days due to activity at our campus locations.

Due to Health codes and safety reasons, a required dress policy is in effect! Volunteers MUST wear Closed Toe Shoes, Shirts need to be short or long sleeved (No tank tops, spaghetti straps, etc.) and Shorts are okay. Dress in layers during the winter as it will be cooler in the warehouse and dress cooler in the summer. Some people like to wear gloves and some find them a little cumbersome to work with. Feel free to bring a pair along.

Please leave valuables, purses or backpacks in your vehicle for your safety and security!  St. Mary’s Food Bank is not responsible for lost and/or stolen items brought into our facilities!

Stay alert at all times— Please DO NOT operate Cell Phones or IPods on the volunteer floor!

We will be working the assembly line packing boxes or bagging potatoes, apples, oranges or whatever they need us to do. The minimum age limit is 12 years old. I encourage those with teenagers to bring them as guests. It is a great event to expose your kids to volunteering and seeing how important it is to help those that are in need.

You are encouraged to bring non-perishable food donations with you to this event.  St. Mary's is currently looking for donations of PEANUT BUTTER. For more info on St. Mary's click HERE

If you are attending and have not filled out a release form for St. Mary's Food Bank before, please go HERE to print out the form to bring with you. They also have release forms without the application portion available when you arrive.
