Salvation Army's Easter Eggstravaganza - Volunteers needed 2nd shift

Hi Everyone,

Salvation Army is having their FIRST divisional 2013 Easter Eggstravaganza for more than 300 underprivileged kids from the Valley at their new Phoenix South Mountain Kroc Center located at 1375 E Broadway Rd, Phx. AZ 85040.

This shift volunteers are needed to help hand out Easter Baskets and as leaders of groups of children as they go through the activities including an Easter egg hunt, an Easter parade, music, games, an Easter bunny tea party, splash pad, refreshments and clean up.

This will be a fun event. We hope to see you there. Minimum age is 10+

Parking is in the East parking lot on 13th Street, then follow the balloons to enter the field area for check in and instructions. Dress accordingly as the weather forecast is looking to be around upper 80's or lower 90's. Please leave valuables in the car, there will be no storage area. Water will be provided.

Attendance Policy: Please note Phoenix Philanthropists does have an attendance policy. We understand that plans change and emergencies come up. If you RSVP YES, but can no longer attend, PLEASE change yourRSVP ASAP. Please note that we do have an attendance policy. Our charity partners rely on us to attend when we say we will and our attendance policy is intended to ensure we can meet our charity partners' expectations. Please give a minimum of 1 day notice for this event before canceling. No Call/No Shows will be recorded, and after 3 No Call No Shows/month or 6 No Call No Shows/year, you will be removed from the Phoenix Philanthropists MeetUp. Please understand this policy is not intended to penalize our philanthropists, but to ensure we maintain good relationships with our charity partners and can give the most back to our community.
