Gatorade Cardinals Kids Camp - Volunteers Needed at AHA Walk

It's Cardinals Kids Camp time again and this is a great event where we'll have a chance to help the Cardinals out in the community. We have the opportunity to work with the Arizona Cardinals in assisting them at the American Heart Association Walk. At this event participants will be taught non-contact recreational activities including learning passing and catching at a five-station interactive area. Volunteers are needed for helping with the stations during the event. This is all about the kids! This is not about getting autographs and free Cardinal gear. Coach Mo is very passionate and very focused on helping kids and he wants the volunteers to be good with kids. We need to demonstrate to the Cardinals that our volunteers are professional, on time and reliable. Do not ask for any shirts, hats, etc. even if you see some being given to kids. (Most likely, you will get a cap to wear to represent the Cardinals). If autographs or something are offered to you, do NOT take advantage of it. No extras for someone who couldn't be there, a son, father, etc. and do not hold up the player if they have to be somewhere else, which was an issue with one of our groups that volunteered. No cameras or photos. Please, no late cancellations!

You need to be ready for physical activity and be able/willing to toss and catch footballs and demonstrate the station activities. You will be demonstrating relay and obstacle courses to the kids, but it is not overly physical so please don't be too concerned about it.

The camp will be held at the Wesley Bolin Plaza in Phoenix. The actual event will run from 7am-12pm. Please be there by 6:30am. Setup will start at 6am if you want to help (I know they'd appreciate the help). Look for the Cardinals Truck if you can't get directly to the field from the street.

Dress comfortably for being outside and being physically active. Shorts/athletic wear is fine. Coach Mo has requested loose-fitting clothes. No tight-fitting tops or bottoms. Gatorade may be provided. Bring your own snacks and water if Gatorade doesn't work for you. Men and women are welcome. Minimum age is 18.
