Easter Meal at St. Vincent de Paul Society Becker Dining Room

Thank you for volunteering your services to the St. Vincent de Paul Society. We certainly do appreciate your support. Your group has agreed to help in the Becker Dining Room where we serve meals to between 250 and 350 people daily -- some in the morning and most in the evening. Here are a few things you need to know about volunteering at the Chris Becker (Sunnyslope) Dining Room

When: Sunday, March 31, 2013

Time: 4:00 – 6:30pm

Group Size: 6 volunteers

Location: 9227 N. 10th Avenue

Duties: Help the dining room manager set up, serve and clean up following the meal.

Age limit: Youth 14 years of age and older only

Dress Code: Jeans, slacks, knee-length shorts, t-shirts, sweats, uniforms or sneakers are fine. (Please do NOT wear sandals, flip-flops, open-toe shoes, heels, tank tops, low-cut blouses or short-shorts.)

Waiver: Please sign, date and bring the Waiver form with you the day you arrive to volunteer and turn in to the dining room manager. If you are under 18, a guardian must sign.

Please remember, WE REALLY DO COUNT ON YOU BEING THERE! If you are unable to make your scheduled time, please cancel with as much advance notice as possible.

Attendance Policy: Please note Phoenix Philanthropists does have an attendance policy. We understand that plans change and emergencies come up. If you RSVP YES, but can no longer attend, PLEASE change yourRSVP ASAP. Please note that we do have an attendance policy. Our charity partners rely on us to attend when we say we will and our attendance policy is intended to ensure we can meet our charity partners' expectations. Please give a minimum of 24 hours notice for this event before canceling. No Call/No Shows will be recorded, and after 3 No Call No Shows/month or 6 No Call No Shows/year, you will be removed from the Phoenix Philanthropists MeetUp. Please understand this policy is not intended to penalize our philanthropists, but to ensure we maintain good relationships with our charity partners and can give the most back to our community

    I went by the location yesterday, It is kind of hard to locate. It is on 10th ave south of hatcher. The road is a cul de sac/ dead end with lots of auto repair businesses. St Vincents campus is a white building with blue trim about half way down the road on the left side if you are facing south. If anyone gets lost or cannot locate the building please call me at[masked] We realize things change and sometimes things come up, If you feel you can not make this event please cancel your RSVP in time for people on the waiting list to be able to adjust their plans accordingly.
