St. Mary’s Food Bank Alliance’s Rock N’ Box packing session's are back!
There is no better way for individuals, families and company groups to help their community and enjoy a great night of fun at the same time. Food and drinks will be provided before the event – along with a brief chat about how this event will help Arizona’s hungry. Then the music starts, the groove kicks in and as many as 150 volunteers begin sorting donated food and packing emergency boxes – a three-day supply of food designed to meet the immediate needs of a family or individual during a time of crisis.
All we need ... is YOU! Come find out how much fun helping the hungry can be.
You never know who will stop by at a Rock N’ Box – local celebrities, sports figures and team mascots, everyone from beauty queens to politicians to reality show stars have been spotted in the past.
Check in is at 5:30 p.m. for food and the fun begins at 6 p.m.
Minimum age is 12 with an accompanying adult.
Dress Attire/ Close toed shoes and all shirts must have a short or long sleeve (no tank tops)
Attendance Policy: We understand that plans change and emergencies come up. If you RSVP YES, but can no longer attend, PLEASE change your RSVP ASAP. Our charity partners rely on us to attend when we say we will and our attendance policy is intended to ensure we can meet our charity partners' expectations. Please give a minimum of 1 day's notice for this event before canceling. No Call/No Shows will be recorded, and after 3 No Call No Shows/month or 6 No Call No Shows/year, you will be removed from the Phoenix Philanthropists. lease understand this policy is not intended to penalize our Philanthropists, but to ensure we maintain good relationships with our charity partners and can give the most back to our community.
