It's nice to know all that food (which would have otherwise been wasted) is going to feed hungry families in the Valley.

Good morning, Everyone! Thank you for signing up for this special project to help St. Mary's Food Bank. What an exciting way to spend a Tuesday eve and to make such a great difference for our community's most in need. Please look for our St. Mary's contact, Jennifer Gonzales, by Halls F & G at 3 p.m. in the South Building. You should see a St. Mary's sign, along with other volunteers gathering. Have a wonderful time! Thanks for all you do--you truly make a difference!

Does anyone know of a meetup group or organization where I can get my children (all under the age of 13) involved in community volunteer efforts?

    • Lori

Hi, Gita! Thank you for inquiring! We have excellent community projects for children right here with the Phoenix Philanthropists, including Garden of Tomorrow (all ages), Feed My Starving Children (5 and up), St. Vincent de Paul Family Dining Room (9 and up), St. Mary's Food Bank Del Webb Center (12 and up), ICM Food and Clothing Bank (12 and up), UMOM Homeless Shelter (12 and up), and more. Please look at our calendar for upcoming events with these charity partners--you'll find age guidelines posted on each event page. Please let me know if you have any other questions.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
