Join the Phoenix Philanthropists for a wonderful day in the park supporting the Old Town Scottsdale Optimist Club as they present the Kidfest & Catfish Rodeo, benefiting the Childhood Cancer Campaign. It'll be a fun and exciting morning filled with games, activities, fishing, food & entertainment, all focused on kids 14 and under. Volunteers will help ensure kids and their families have a blast by helping in two-hour shifts with set-up, concession stands, selling game & raffle tickets, assisting & monitoring kids, and break-down.
So come have fun in the sun, making this a special day for all kids, and helping the Childhood Cancer Campaign make a critical difference in the lives of families of children with cancer.

ABOUT OUR CHARITY PARTNER
The Old Town Scottsdale Optimist Club is a newly-formed chapter of Optimist International, an association of over 2600 clubs dedicated to bring out the best in kids, first established in 1919. They meet their mission by utilizing talents to conduct positive service projects, and by providing support through such things as backpacks & school supplies, and scholarship funds. Through the Childhood Cancer Campaign, it is Optimists International's mission to be the leading force to rid the world of childhood cancer.
