Feel free to bring an arts and crafts project that can work for up to 30 kids.

Please keep in mind that UMOM is a faith-based organization. Minimum age for this will be 12 with parent or guardian accompanying you. PLEASE READ:

CHECK AT 4:00P.M. Friday, to see if this meet-up has  been cancelled.

2) Do not bring anything of value into the shelter.2) Entrances are to first knock on the double doors; next try the doorbell and lastly go to the west side and enter. Tell a worker that you are there to volunteer with The Phoenix Philanthropists!

3) Advice: always stay with children where you and the child can be seen. Do not take children to the bathroom but get their parents instead.

4) WE ALWAYS NEED DONATIONS for the shelter and our program for this is run on donations only.

NEEDs are play doh,  CONNECT FOUR GAMESS, Twister, games,  basketballs, footballs, arts and crafts projects, toddler toys, race car sets, bikes and play tents.

It was wonderful to see the kiddos so joyful in their costumes. You could sense the excitement from both the kids and the parents. Hats off to Lorraine for leading this group. thanks to all!

Hi Lorraine - I'll bring a bunch of candy. Are you getting there regular time with activities starting before the trick or treat line?

I'm going to try to get there a little early. We have some activates planned before the Trick or Treat like decorating masks etc. and I think glo in the dark nail polish. I bought a pumpkin to decorate; Mel has candy and activities; Keith Gabriel and Mario bought 50 pumpkin buckets; I have glo sticks...it should be good! Any extra candy; we can make up some extra buckets for kids not there and give the women candy too! A teacher from AJ made little ghost candy stick's for all of the women! I really appreciate your help! I posted a sign so the kids know about it! Thank you so much!

Please come on this night and bring candy to hand out to the children on our Parking Lot Trick or Treat. Be there at 7:00pm with your candy to hand out. I bought glo sticks but we could always use more; have some candy donated and have activites planned by some volunteers. Keith Gabriel and Mario are donating 50 Trick or Trick buckets for the children to keep and use for Trick or Treat. I need some more people that will bring treats or even washed apples or oranges to also hand out or leave out for the families to eat. Any leftover candy can always be given to the 120 women.
