Liberty Mutual Golf Invitational for the International Cancer Advocacy Network

The International Cancer Advocacy Network (ICAN) is looking for volunteers to help them with their 3rd annual Liberty Mutual Golf Invitational fundraiser event. All proceeds benefit ICAN's highly-acclaimed personalized medicine cancer case management programs. Learn more about ICAN at www.askican.org.

Volunteer Shifts

Below are the various shifts available! Please come well-fed, bring a water bottle, and a book for down time (many shifts will be hurry up and wait situations, at times)!

 

Registration & Set-Up

9:00AM - 12:45PM

7 Philanthropists needed! Volunteers will be outside in the sun or under a tent. Tasks include registration, shirt distribution, golfer goody bag distribution, water bottles, box lunches, gloves and balls tent, greeting/facilitating, clerical assistance, driving errands

 

Hole Monitors for Hole-In-One Prizes

11AM - 4PM

4 volunteers needed! Please arrive by 11AM for training!

 

Auction Set-Up and Security

12 - 5PM

5 volunteers needed! Volunteers will be inside.

 

Silent Auction Sales and Security Volunteers

5 - 8PM

5 volunteers needed!  Volunteers will be inside. People with sales terminal and sales processing experience would be very helpful! Those willing to help ICAN's clerical team would be gratefully accepted as well.

 

Dress Code

Golf attire, please!

No jeans
No halters - collared shirts are preferred
Longer shorts vs short shorts!
Comfortable shoes
A nice, tailored look

    I signed up to work the Hole in One Monitoring from 11am to 4pm. What's the dress code? Will we get a t-shirt? Wear shorts? Thanks!

      Dress code is golf attire. They will not have shirts for volunteer. Shorts are fine as long as they are a little bit longer and still have a nice tailored look expected on a golf course.
