St. Joseph the Worker in Need of Data Base Program Volunteer

A former member
Hi Everyone!

I am passing this request on to our members. St. Joseph the Worker is seeking someone to help them out a few times a month with their data base program. Their mission is to assist homeless, low-income and other disadvantaged individuals in their efforts to become self-sufficient through permanent, full-time employment. This organization is part of the human services campus and the Lodestar center just west of downtown and across the street from the Andre House.

Skills needed are listed below.

Volunteer Role: Program Database Support

Skills: Web application developer

Language: Ruby on Rails

Ideal candidate would be someone that has Ruby on Rails experience or someone that has developed in other web application languages (i.e. PHP, Java…) and would like to learn Ruby on Rails. Time commitment will vary depending on program update needs (past needs do not exceed 2 updates per month)

This opportunity is a virtual role – does not require work to be performed during normal business hours or on location.

If anyone is interested in this volunteer position, please contact:
