I am excited to announce a special event featuring Benjamin Radford, deputy editor of Skeptical Inquirer magazine and author of hundreds of articles and seven books on the paranormal, skepticism, and science communication. For more information about Ben and his work, see benjaminradford.com.
Ben is giving a talk titled "Slaying the Vampire: Solving the Chupacabra Mystery" based on his book titled Tracking the Chupacabra. The Chupacabra is a legendary monster said to drain their victims of all blood. Ben will describe his five year quest of following the trail of the mythical beast and eventually solving the mystery.
This special event will be held in a meeting room at the Windmill Inn, just west of Chandler Mall. The event is $5 and can be paid in cash or check at the door.
This meetup is absolutely open to the public--including believers in cryptozoology or the paranormal. So invite that credulous friend or family member. This will be fun and informative for everyone!
