City Hall Gallery Call for Submissions: "Abstractions"

  • May 11, 2014 · 11:00 PM

Hello Photo Friends,

It's time to submit images for the June show at our gallery in Worcester City Hall, with the theme of "Abstractions."

There are no restrictions on technique or digital manipulation, only that images must be based on a photograph.

--- Submissions ---

You may email up to three 3 JPG images to me at [masked]

Please keep the files under 2MB and at 200dpi so the juror can make small prints for the selection process. They should be labeled with your name and the image title, following this format: "TylerTrahan_TuesdayMorning.jpg"

If your name is not in the filename, the images will be rejected.

--- Schedule ---

• Submission deadline: May 11, end of day

• Notification of selected images: May 16

• Framing Party: Monday, June 2 from 5:30pm to 7pm

• Hanging: TBA

• Opening: TBA

If your image is chosen for the gallery, YOU MUST attend the Framing Party with your matted prints so you can frame your image.

--- Matting ---

Prints must be matted with white mats to an exterior size of 16x24". The print size doesn't matter as long as the mat is 16x24", to fit inside our 16x24" frames.
