Lighting with Portable Flash
Lou Swinand, instructor

4 Sessions -----
Friday 6 – 8:30 pm 10/28/11 to 11/18/2011

Portable flash units are powerful and versatile lighting tools. Learn how to control and modify the light coming from them to creatively light your subject.

On-camera flash is flat and unflattering. This workshop will show you how to get more from your flash by using modifiers and by using your portable flash off the camera. It will demonstrate how to use I, 2 and even 3 flash units to light a scene.

Learn about various remotes used to trigger the off-camera flash; as well as how to apply light modifiers, such as diffusers, umbrellas, softboxes, and reflectors, which soften and shape the light. The workshop information applies to digital and film cameras.
