Tell us about your background in photography. How did you get started, and how long have you been into it?

Knowledge, camaraderie, fun, the usual stuff.

What type of photography do you enjoy the most? People, landscapes, animals, fine art?

I don't have just one favorite. I like it when a photograph speaks to me / tells a story / sneaks past my defenses and elicits an emotional response.

What kind of gear do you use? Do you still use film or are you all digital?

I don't have enough experience to know what the best rig would be for me. Ken Rockwell says that Leica is smallest, lightest, and has the best lenses. Maybe I should start looking for some of that on e-bay. But I am so happy with what I have, it's hard to put effort into buying another brand. Maybe something in large format, for the ultimate sharpness and color.

I'm an amateur photographer with some talent. I'm always happy to help other photographers and to learn new things myself. My background is mainly nature and landscapes, but I am interested in all kinds of things.
