I don't mind sharing what I've learned with newbies, and I always learn useful stuff when talking with active photographers.
Larry Ulrich, because he made a career out of walking in the woods and then selling the collected images when he wasn't walking about. He shared a lot of nature with people at an affordable price.
I'd add some more Canon L-series lenses and a full-frame body to my collection, especially the 300mm or 400mm f/2.8 IS. I like DSLRs with quiet shutters, as I shoot a lot in indoor spaces and meetings.

The range of attendee experience and skill is very wide, from long-time pros to newbies with digital photography. For example, while many attendees are familiar with Photoshop, one of the prints of interest had been prepared with Google's Picasa - a free utility with many fewer features. There's always the opportunity to learn something new and useful with this crowd.
