New Meetup: Worldwide Photo Walk - Niles District in Fremont

A former member
Announcing a new Meetup for The South Bay Photography Meetup Group!

What: Worldwide Photo Walk - Niles District in Fremont

When: July 18, 2009 1:00 PM

Where: (A location has not been chosen yet.)

This is a placeholder for the Worldwide Photo Walk that I will be leading to explore the historic Niles district in Fremont.

You must sign up for the photo walk on the official photo walk site. Signing up on the Meetup site will not guarantee a place, and actually won't mean anything.

You can find more information on the official photo walk site, including the walking route.

I will answer any questions about this walk either on this Meetup page or on the discussion board.

Again, RSVPs through Meetup will not be honoured. You MUST sign up on the official photo walk site in order to attend this Meetup.

Hi Reese,

I'm really looking forward to tomorrow's photo walk! I checked out the official website for details of how the competition works, but it's still unclear...

Do we need to upload our photos the same day as the walk in order to qualify? Is there a definitive deadline to submit our entries? How many photos can we submit? Is it okay to submit photos that have been post-processed?

Thanks for your sage assistance. smile

Just got the email blast from the photo walk's organizers, which answered all my above questions. The link to the email (in browser format) is:
