Long Exposure Friday!
Come capture twilight settling over the Financial District from an interesting angle...
Atop Potrero Hill there are a couple of amazing street views of the city un-obscured by wires.
I've spent more than a couple of evenings perched at this vantage point with my shutter hanging open, capturing the glow of the city and the traffic moving in and out.
Now it's your turn!
Come join this short-but-sweet shootout and help us kick off our summer fun with a Long Exposure Friday!
Sunset is around 8:30 on Friday, come a little early to give yourself time to find your right angle and set up- there are a couple of views in this area, one of SF another of Oakland to check out. We'll wrap up around 9-9:30, time enough for you to pack your gear away and hit the clubs!
What to bring:
Camera, of course!
Wear layers, the wind on Potrero can get chilly
Tripod or other stabilization devise
Long, Medium or Telephoto lens
Parking should not be an issue if you drive.
Access via Muni 22 Line, walk up hill from 18th street.
As this is a residential street, we must be respectful with regards to traffic, blocking driveways and keeping our voices low to ensure we don't disturb the neighbors.
All levels of shutterbugs welcome, any kind of camera with night-time settings will work.
