Art Pad SF is looking for 3-4 photographers for Thursday May 16th from 4 - 10 pm to shoot the events VIP opening reception at the Pheonix Hotel in San Francisco.
All interested photographers will need to submit 3-5 images to Alissa Polan at alissa@artpadsf.com
Chosen photographers will be comped a 3day pass to the event for their work.
A shot list will be provided.
The photos taken during the event will be used for future publicity and is a great opportunity for someone to build their working portfolio.

I am interested. What is the rate of pay per hour?

I seriously hope they are not expecting photographers to shoot this event and only be compensated with a 3 day event pass and "portfolio building" (hear that crock way to often). This type of gig should be PAID with real money. Passes to an event does not pay the bills.

People - please do not shoot this without being getting compensated a fair amount.

Of course you can ask for compensation, but I know they have a very small budget after venue and food costs. I would have done this for free for the networking opportunities but I was unable to get time off from work.
