A terrific Canadian photographer, and my inspiration... http://www.freemanpatterson.com/
My fave is my Panasonic TZ3, it's a comfortably sized Point&Shoot with some manual capabilities and a 10xOpticalZoom. Now I'm struggling with a new DSLR... a Canon T1i with an[masked]mm zoom, big & heavy, and lots to learn.
Anything, anywhere, any time... I'm retired. But I do like to socialize, so I'll suggest a picnic or a meeting over a glass of wine.
There is opportunity everywhere. If I don't see it, please point it out to me. I especially like repetitious shapes, and the play of light and shadow. And 'people' photography is great fun.
Inspiration and learning is the by product of social time with like-minded people. Photography has made me much more aware of the world around me. My camera is my best friend... together we have recorded every square inch of Vancouver.
