Yes I agree

What is the URL of your favourite photography-related web site?

Well here's some shameless advertising for you: www.Bulbexposures.com. This is my personal blog that is all about my fine-art long exposure photography. It contains free tutorials, lots of images, interviews, student work and lots of inspiration for anyone interested in this kind of photography.

What is the make/model of your own favourite camera(s)?

Phase One Digital, Cambo Wide DS (shoots both digital and film), Toyo 4x5 film, and my iPhone -:)

Describe ideal Event types: days, times, length of Meetups, locations... please be specific. Thanks!

I have to say 2 to 3 hours at a time works well for me. Evenings and weekends work best, and locations should be easy to get to. If long travel time is involved, make a day-trip out of it.

What type of photography do you enjoy most (nature, street-life, studio, landscape, etc)?

I have been photographing using long exposure photography techniques since the early 2000's. This particular style of photography continues to have a profound influence on me and I continue to work on new photographic projects and series using these techniques. At the same time, I have also been very seriously involved with photographing the figure, with an initial inspiration that stems from the work of Master Photographers such as Ralph Gibson, Helmut Newton, etc I really enjoy the personal interactions, and shared creativity and inspiration when working with models.

Introduction

Hello! I am Marc Koegel and some of you may know me from Vancouver Photo Workshops. My life has centered around photography since I was given a darkroom at the age of 12. Today I shoot primarily fine-art long exposure landscapes and nudes/figure.
