Race track - what a great idea ! Catch the gamblers in the crowd... catch the equine flesh dancing through time and space ... nothing better. Just one thing.. how do we capture all of that action ? ( several shots at once ? fast speed settings ? tripods ? ... i have a lot to learn and what better place with what better people ?).

I found that both a ultra wide/wide angle and telephoto(zoom) were both useful in capturing the
people and the horses in actionsmile In the following link, for most of the pics, I used an ultra wide
angle (Pentax DA 12-24) and (fill-in) flash for shooting people as they watch their horses come in
at the finish line ....and it made for some interesting results:

I think if you check my previous racetrack link I used a long lens more often for candids smile
