Was this at Stanley Park? Looks like a very young squirrel. Am I right? Great moment to 'catch' on camera.

The photo was taken at central park, Burnaby where I walk my dog everyday. I was trying out on an old F/1.8 50mm prime lens bought from the recent camera swap meet. Nice depth of field from the old SLR lens after fitting onto my mirror less micro 4/3 with an adaptor

Peter, wow if you did not mention 4/3 camera I would have assumed it was a DSLR. With todays technology its the lens that sets quality apart. Of course most importantly its the photographer and not the equipment that creates a good photo.

I think lens make a big difference. The newer micro 43 is not too expensive because it come with a smaller image sensor-hence the crop factor. I may be wrong but I also believe prime lens because of its simpler design shoot good picture than zone lens. Any zone lens with big apertures can be very very expensive. My stock camera came with a 18-42mm f3.5 zone but the old 50mm f1.8 shoots better quality photos.

I like Minolta lens from the now defunct company. I am hoping to get another MD to micro 43 mount and start shooting with the old lens on a newer camera
