Thanks for the info. about the weekend. I'm not sure if the same rules apply or not. I will check on that, if we are allowed then we will be there. He is scheduled for neutering May 3rd, a couple of days before his first birthday and then it won't be an issue. We are both looking forward to being able to play in the group.

Thanks Lori! I kind of hate that my vet wants to wait 1 full year for neuter/spaying with med./lg breed, but the research they've done has really convinced me. Ever since people have been able to afford to fix their dogs, they've seen a steady increase in ACL injuries, hip breaks around 3 to 4 years. Ortho. dr.'s knew this for years and say larger dogs aren't getting the muscle mass they need by being fixed even as early as 5-6 months. Only have 6 weeks to go so might as well stick it out.

Hi Lori - I'm not going to make this Saturday's meetup. I've got a T Ball game, followed by a baby shower (whew)! My life's not usually that busy, so I'm hoping to make the next meeting.
