Finally got fed up with not having the video finished the way I wanted, so here is the video of everyone taking still pictures! Got some good stories from the tour guides, though. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Sx9HMpoROw

What a fantastic photo opportunity at the Fox! I would love to hear what lens/settings some of you used of the front entrance. I'm not at all happy with my pics, and learning to shoot in manual is beyond frustrating for me!

    • Laura W.

Thank you for the information! It is SO frustrating for me to try to get in the 'manual' mode. I have a lot to learn! I appreciate the input!~

Well, you and your group were most welcome! Funny thing, we found 4 of them in the BOILER ROOM, trying to take photos of the boilers and water heaters? Anyway, these photos are fantastic! We were so happy to have your excellent photographers at The Theatre.

Great to have the opportunity to wander around with camera in hand after going to shows at the Fox and dreaming of shooting some of the elements! Always good to see and visit with other photographers, too.

I wasn't able to make it to the Fox but I did make it to the Library. With all of the more experienced photographers there, being there was a little intimidating but I like the competitive environment.

Should we upload library photos in the same directory with the Fox photos?

I agree with Mark B...lotsa people made it challenging...one thing for the future...maybe next time we can get them to turn those blasted white work lights OFF!!

    March 31, 2013

It was challenging with so many people in attendance but a great place to photograph

The Fox exceeded our expectations. And so did the Library! Wish I had more time at the Fox, I want to do that again. Thanks Carrie!

    March 30, 2013

  • Bob C.

Good time, good images. Only complaint is that there were too many of us to shoot in tight spaces and that we couldn't linger in lots of locations. I'll upload some pix not but, since I shoot raw, there are many more to edit.

I had no tour guide. I went rogue. After 1pm or so the place was mostly empty anyway. I really enjoyed the opportunity to roam the Fox so freely.

many stairs to climb, keep moving, getting photos, long shutter speeds, lugging heavy tripod which a must to photograph inside the fox. But enjoyed it, didn't shoot a the library but did go inside just to see the remodel of the place nicely done

The Fox was terrific! There were beautiful photo opportunities every where you looked! I went to Pappy's afterwards, but never saw anyone else. The food was great, but I was sad not to share the experience with others.

    March 29, 2013

  • Edward C.

Hey, everybody, sorry about the delay in responding to comments! Bring $6 for the event - $1 for dues and $5 to give the Fox for our tickets. In the future we will make these a pre-paid event, but will have to charge a slight premium to make up for what PayPal subtracts from the total. We want to get a group photo before the tour, so don't be late, please!
