On this tour, we will be visiting the Shrine of St. Joseph and another church (yet to be named). From the Shrine's web page: "This beautiful old church, at the corner of 11th Street and Biddle in St. Louis, Missouri has a vast and interesting history. The church had its beginning in 1843. The Jesuits founded the parish to serve a pleasant residential community consisting mostly of German immigrants. Also, the church is the site of the only authenticated miracle in the Midwest." We'll meet at the Shrine at 10:00 and spend 60-90 minutes photographing interior, exterior, and enjoying history on the building. Please do not go in prior to 10:00 as that is our designated time.
Shoot Scoop: Perfect opportunity for wide angle, fish-eye lenses, and your tripod. Tilt-shift as well if you have one. I've not been inside this building, though the docent said we can bring whatever equipment we like. :)
If I'm able to confirm the other church for Noon, I'll post it and send everyone a note.
