I used to hate flash photos, but then I learned how to use a flash to dramatically improve my photography - indoors and out. Bring your camera and flash and find out how you can fill, bounce, dominate and control the light when you bring your own!
enjoyable and fun, had a problem with my camera which was no ones fault but my own set mirror lock and took about 30-40 minutes to figure out what I had done after I figured out the problem everything went fine.
It's one thing to know what controls do. It's totally different to know when to use which controls. Before this class I had used my flash 3 times. If I had just 2 or 3 of the things I learned here, I would have had dozens of better photos.
A lot of good questions asked, digging into the menus of our cameras (turn auto ISO off!) and discussion of the relationship between ambient light and flash exposure when using fill flash (use your shutter speed to control the ambient light/flash balance).
