I have been seriously studying photography for about two years now, have learned a lot and realize there is so much more to learn and experience. My style ranges from abstract images of everyday items, to wildlife, landscapes, children, senior portraits and even some wedding photography. I love any type of shot that will capture and convey an emotion, a feeling, a story! Most of my images involve vivid colors and simple subjects, although I've recently been working with b&w images in post and even some duotones that I really like.
I have a non-photography job that pays the bills. And I do take a camera with me where ever I travel and make time to shoot. I have done and continue to do some small paying jobs and working to expand that over time.
I have several photos published in my kids' high school yearbooks! The yearbook sponsor and parents come to me for photos each year--that led to the senior portrait work! I have an online site and post many of the high school event photos there. No exhibits yet except in the homes of clients and family members!
I'd be willing to help though my travel schedule (international and domestic) can be hectic and unpredictable much of the time.
I'm a divorced father of five kids who enjoys exercise, reading, movies, arts, business, technology, psychology, and marketing. I have a diverse business background working in international sales and program management in the high tech industry.
All of the group's events organized by Ed and co-organizers (Rich, Grover, others...) are top notch. Everyone if friendly, helpful and always a good time. And we all love talking and sharing photography.
