Yep, it's sort of shocking how blatantly exploitative the terms are for many competitions. There is a "Rights Off" list of companies with harmful competition terms and conditions. Companies like National Geographic(!), Google, and Microsoft were on that list. It hasn't been updated in some time, but the Photographer's Bill of Rights still applies.
