Welcome to the Northern California Photography Group.
We are a bunch of enthousiastic photographers that like to go out and shoot all sorts of interesting places. Whether it is some local event, an interesting place or grand scenic location, we always have fun going out and enjoying ourselves. We also do workshops, providing an opportunity to learn more about things like High Dynamic Range photography or how to use Lightroom in our workflow.
All are welcome, no matter your level of expertise.

We Now Charge a $12/Year Subscription Fee in order to be a member of this group. That's $1/month and covers the costs of operating this site, mostly Meetup.com fees. The Sandhill Cranes have arrived at the Consumnes River Preserve where they will stay until March 2010.
The preserve is actually FULL of birds, most notably (at this time of year) Great Egret, Canada Goose, Wood Duck, Mallard, Red-Tailed Hawk, America Coot and Turkey Vulture.
There are two easy trails in the preserve, one is 3 miles long and the other is 1 mile. Read more
