I am very happy to announce our first Workshop of 2013!
For those who are not familiar with the concept, Sténopé uses a very, very small opening (i.e. a pinhole) in the place of a lens to project light onto film and create an image. The effect is is unique (see examples below) and the techinque can be very rewarding, especially since you will be building your own pinhole camera during the workshop!
The weekend will start at 09h30 on Saturday with a short introduction to Sténopé and how to operate a pinhole camera by group members Adela and Mark Meadows. You will then build your own camera and be free for the rest of the day to shoot your roll of film. We will reconvene on Sunday to develop your film and scan your images.
All materials, negative development and scanning are included in the 45€ price of the workshop. Space is limited due to the logistics involved in developing and scanning the film, so sign up early!
***REMEMBER this is a TWO-DAY workshop, so reserve Saturday the 12th AND Sunday the 13th of January!!!
