Vancouver Art Photography Group

The Vancouver Art Photography group is a place for photographers of all levels to come and learn about the art of photography. We?re in the process of setting up a studio space where people can come together and learn through lectures and hands on assignments. The primary purpose of this group: Monthly guest lectures & seminars on a wide range of topics ranging from lighting, composition, post production work and image manipulation, black and white photography, theory and much more. Free hands on courses that will help introduce photographers to the concepts taught in the seminars. You will get the opportunity to use lighting kits, work with models and compose your own masterpieces! Offer members a chance to meet other like minded photographers and learn from each other Field trips to a variety of locations around the city of Vancouver Friendly photography competitions judged by panels of judges Photography exhibition opportunities And more Who should join? Anyone living around Vancouver with an interest in photography or the visual arts. Film and digital photographers from all skill levels are welcome.
