Hello and Welcome to Photo Shoots of Houston Models & Photographers (PSHMP):
Our group aims to connect those interested in photography with workshops for models, make-up artists, clothing designers and photographers all of whom that participate within the group have an awesome range of artistic backgrounds. Whether you are just beginning or an advanced photographer, join us to discover photography at all levels in a variety of dynamic opportunities (in studio or on-location). We are working to make the group a great place for photographers, make-up artists, designers and models to start/continue to build professional portfolios. In addition, we feel this is a good place for models to meet make-up artists, designers and photographers serious about their work and that all respective parties receive useful pictures for their portfolio.
Make-up Artists will have a chance to practice their craft in a typical photo shoot like environment, build their portfolios and may network with photographers and models who may wish to employ their services at some future date. Opportunities may arise where a designer(s) will want to showcase their fashion designs and may need models, make-up artists and photographers to build their portfolios.
Come and shoot with us, improve upon your craft and meet with other like-minded individuals with similar interests. In addition, we have groups in Austin and San Antonio, where it is our goal to provide opportunities to all who are passionate either as a model, make-up artist or photographer. We conduct modeling training for new models and special paid projects for models that demonstrate integrity and are dedicated to their craft.
Membership in the group is not automatic. After the 30 day trial period is over, Membership is $10.00 a year in order to continue participating in the group's activities, which help cover the group’s fee. Questions are asked to ensure everyone meets the basic requirements and are subject to organizers’ approval. The organizers reserves the right to deny membership, and/or revoke membership to anyone who does not meet the basic qualifications outlined in the Terms and Conditions page.
When filling out your membership, please use "your" name and not a business name or "nickname". Once you are in the group and have attended an event and would like to be called by your nickname...no problem.
