Wish I was able to come to this one! I have missed way to many meetings lately due to illness. Hopefully soon I will have a night I am well enough or not busy to come and sit in!

So bummed I missed it. I was really looking forward to it, but got stuck at work late. Anyone take any really good notes and mind sharing??

Megan - The presenter was a talented graphic artist. He assumed the audience knew how to use the various layers. He has had several pictures printed i n magazines. He uses PE !! and rarely Photoshop 6. His technique consists of copying the original and then adding multiple layers that add swatches of color, drawings, other pictures, and full color pages, etc. He then adjusts each layers opacity to gain the effect he wants. His results are very avant guard. As an example see the picture that was with the meetup page.

Lots of cool examples; Freddy is truly an artist! It was great to hear his story (the emotional side of the artist) in addition to the examples and sharing with us the steps he took to get there. -Thank you Freddy!

Great class, I learned a lot! I will look into using Photoshop Elements, because learning Photoshop 4/5/6 had been challenging.
