This is an ongoing series. This is a very informal workshop in which I will typically run through one of this month's shoots. This keeps it topical to this time of year. Then, typically the group will steer me off the cliff somewhere into new and uncharted areas. If you have any questions or any problems that you are experiencing with post processing, this is where you get answers. Our topics will start off as beginner and end as advanced.
The mindset has always been that if you're a Photographer, you need to be able to use Photoshop. Since the start of Photoshop Lightroom, that no longer applies. With Photoshop Lightroom, we can do non-destructive edits on our photos with amazing speed and creativity.
Too many times I've seen Photographers spend 20 minutes on a picture in Photoshop, when they could have done the same thing in far less time in Photoshop Lightroom. Typically, in a studio shoot, I can edit an entire shoot (300+ pictures) in less than 20 minutes.
In this 2 hour workshop, we will get an overview of my process and a crash course in Photoshop Lightroom. I will go through a shoot, from picking images to printing a large format photo. We will even dabble into the web module (web example here) as well.
Would you rather be sitting in front of the computer or out making images?
I'm an Adobe Certified Expert in Photoshop Lightroom. I also participate with Adobe in building the exam that certifies Experts in Photoshop Lightroom and am an active participant in the Adobe Professionals circle. I've been working with this program since the initial beta.
